Art Class at Hawthorn
Every Tuesday and Thursday, all Hawthorn students participate in art class. Students are encouraged to master various techniques that will fit them to create works of art and grow in artistic accomplishment. They learn to draw, use perspective, shade, compose with colors, use pastels and watercolors, and appreciate the history behind great works of art. Through regular practice, they gain confidence in the use of various media, including watercolor, pencil, pastel and charcoal. We've included some examples of their work, spanning a range of ages and grades.
