Start of Spring Clubs

The Cross Country Club will be off to the races on Monday, March 31st and the Rugby Club will start rucking and mauling on Tuesday, April 1st. No, that is not an April Fool. That is for real! Both clubs will run through to the first week of June, so Cross Country will end on Monday June 2nd and Rugby on Tuesday June 3rd. The Cross Country Club will meet on grounds at the Hawthorn School and the Rugby Club will meet at the side entrance to the Boys' Wing and walk over to the Bedford Memorial Park together. Rugby Club pick up will be from the Memorial Park at 3:45pm.  The Tennis Club's first serve will be on Friday, April 4th and conclude Friday, June 6th. The Tennis Club will also meet at Bedford Memorial Park, and pick up will be from the park at 3:45pm.

The Cross Country and Tennis Clubs are for Girls and Boys in 3rd Grade and above. The Rugby Club is only for Boys in 3rd Grade and above.

Also, for the first time this year we will be offering a Soccer Clubfor Girls and Boys in Grades 1 through 3!
Mr. Cotaj, who has a youth coaching license, has kindly volunteered his time to lead this Club. The Soccer Club will be held on Mondays between 2:45pm and 3:45pm. The first day will be Monday, March 31st. The Soccer Club will not be walking from Hawthorn to the Memorial Park together. The road is too busy and the sidewalk too narrow to make the walk safe for a large group of young children.  Please make arrangements to transport your child from the school to the Park for a 2:45pm practice. Pick up and drop off will be at the Memorial Park.

Please sign up by filling out an RSVP form at the Clubs Page on our website. Please note that you need to register for these clubsin order for the school to plan accordingly.  Once registered, please encourage your child to complete the season where possible.
