Helping Children Become Readers

Our most recent Coffee with the President featured a presentation and discussion on helping our children to love books and reading.

Dr. McCleary explained how the love of good books brings an ever greater appreciation for the richness of reality and our place within it.

Join us on the third Thursday of each month in the Hawthorn School living room after drop-off for coffee and light refreshments. Our President, Dr. McCleary, sits down with parents to discuss what is happening at the school. While the discussion is often mission specific, questions from parents are always welcome and make for wonderful conversation.
