Feast of our Lady of the Rosary

On October 7th we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of  Rosary at the school with a festival day. Our students learned the meaning of the rosary, prayed a decade in honor of the Blessed Mother, and heard about the historical importance of October 7th and the Battle of Lepanto.  Afterwards, students participated in athletic competitions, competitions of the bard (song and poetry) , enjoyed a pizza lunch, and topped off the afternoon with ice cream.
