On March 28th, 60 parents and students of the Hawthorn community came together to visit the senior citizens of Waterview Hills in Purdys, NY.  In preparation for this visit, students met weekly to rehearse instrumental pieces, songs, and poems that they shared with the residents of the senior community.  Students also shared beautiful homemade cards and flowers with the seniors who were present.  This afternoon of community outreach was a meaningful way to engage in service during this season of Lent.
