Math Club with Dr. Eric Liverance

  • Do you wonder about the lives and discoveries of great mathematicians?

  • Does the beauty of the Pythagorean Theorem thrill you?

  • How about the story of Pi?

  • Would you like to participate in the Math Olympiad?

  • Do you think you could write the code that solves the most pressing problems of artificial intelligence?

If you like solving puzzles, making connections through numbers, and having fun with other young mathematicians, perhaps the math club is for you. Please let us know if you are interested in being part of the club, which will meet once each week after school on Wednesdays, from 2:45 pm - 3:30 pm.

Cross Country Club

Mr. Tim McGovern will lead practices on Mondays from 2:45-3:30. Students can wear shorts, t-shirts, and running shoes. Their gym uniform would be fine. Please send them with long sleeve t-shirts and sweats when the weather cools down.

Tim ran cross country and indoor and outdoor track throughout high school and college. Recently, he’s collected top ten finishes in The Big Apple Half Marathon and the Trail des Aiguilles, a mountain race through the French Alps. Tim values running as a tool for training the will and as a way to enjoy the outdoors.

Chorus Club

Mrs. MacDonald is pleased to direct an after-school Chorus, open to all students in grades 2-8.  We will meet weekly on Thursdays, from 2:45-3:30pm, starting October 6th.

Students will learn and practice the basics skills of singing, performance, and harmonization.  Students will have the opportunity to explore their own musical talents and love for singing.  Performances to be announced!
