Field trip to Muscoot Farm

On Friday May 26th The Hawthorn School students visited Muscoot Farm in Katonah, N.Y.  While at the farm museum students had time to explore the beautiful grounds and were led on a guided tour to learn more about Muscoot Farm's history. Some highlights included learning about the different animals on the farm, dairy farming, blacksmithing, how the farm got its name, and all about the family that started the farm back in 1880. We enjoyed a picnic lunch before leaving and it was a wonderful experience for all! Click here to see more pictures
